Hello, I’m Brianna. I’m so delighted to meet you!

Here’s the deal: I like to take photographs. I take many. Let me take them for you.

I used to borrow cameras from family members when I was a kid, and signed up for a sweet camera basics class with a local photographer when I was in the 7th grade. I can remember going home, laying on the ground under a tall tree, and taking about 30 photos of the tree from that perspective. I watched my grandfather, the most brilliant man I’ve ever known, beam with pride over his photographs for much of my life, and now I get to do the same thing.

I grabbed my first DSLR over a decade ago, and have spent so much of my time learning the craft and pushing myself technically and creatively. I absolutely love what I do, and until I’m physically unable to hold a camera, I’ll be seeking information and inspiration to better my work.

Aside from being a photographer, I’m a wife and mother. My husband is a nerdy, bearded man, and we were married on a rainy summer day in 2010. We have 3 little girls, all 5 years apart, and they make the world turn. (We also have a cat, who we call Cappuccino Verdolino. He might be my spirit animal.) My favorite thing in the world is spending the day at home with these guys, cuddling up on the sofa or running around the yard. They are what makes life beautiful.

Some things that make me smile:

Children, people in love, art, music, books, films, homeschooling, science, chai lattes, mismatched socks, forests, kindness, fun colored pens, making lists, Doctor Who, quirky people, my front porch, Christmas lights, tacos, and cats.
